Topping out ceremony for major city residential development
Property investment consultancy Knight Knox, Qualis Developments and Broadfield Project Management have marked the topping out of Great Central – an £18m residential development in Sheffield.
Representatives from all three companies, as well as Coda Architecture, engineers Curtins and funders Maslow Capital were also in attendance to mark the occasion.
Once completed, the Kelham Island new-build will consist of 131 studios, one, two and three-bed apartments, including two commercial units.
Residents of Great Central will have access to a reception lobby, cycle storage, and a landscaped courtyard, with the addition of spacious balconies available on many apartments. Due to its excellent hilltop location, residents will also have unparalleled views over the city.
Samantha Jones, head of marketing at Knight Knox, attended the event. She said: “Great Central has been one of our most popular developments to date and was extremely well received from the moment we launched it to market.
“It’s located in an extremely exciting area, being less than a mile from Sheffield’s lively city centre and next to the vibrant Kelham Island district.”
