Celebrity hairstylist launching city super salon

A £100,000 beauty salon is set to spice up the Leeds beauty industry and aims to become a “one stop shop” for everything glam when it opens.

Located near Greek Street at 18 South Parade, Dickeybow Boutique will make its debut next week and is the latest salon for entrepreneur Karl Dickey who is one of the most sought after talents in the TV industry after working with reality diva Gemma Colllins on her TV show. Projects have also followed with the BBC and MTV.

This new salon, Karl’s second in the region, will offer head to toe hair and beauty treatments and creating 16 new jobs in the city. The venue will also feature the Dickeybow Academy where artists can learn make up skills from the talented team on a special 12-week course.

Karl said: “The Dickeybow Boutique journey has been an absolute whirlwind over the past few years and has grown into a brand that I’m truly proud of.

“The Leeds salon really offers something unique to the city and offers a space for girls to socialise with a glass of Prosecco as they get glammed up for a party, wedding or a night on the town.”

The salon will open on Saturday 30 November with visitors on the day able to visit for a glass of Prosecco, and meet the team.
