Greenwood has more than 23 years of construction experience, latterly with Kier Living and has successfully led frameworks with the Homes and Communities Agency now Homes England and Innovation Chain North West.

He said: “The construction market focus has moved to beds and sheds and with Caddick’s extensive experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, design and build, it was a logical move to expand into the residential sector.

“Securing a place on this £340million framework is fantastic and we look forward to working with Efficiency North and its partners to deliver high-quality social housing and regenerate local communities across the region.”

This expansion follows a strong 2018/19 financial year which finished in August, following the delivery of award-winning flagship projects such as the £42million Emerald Headingley Stadium.

“We are delighted to welcome on board Richard Greenwood, who has extensive experience in delivering new homes around the UK. He will be a real asset to the team as we grow our residential arm of the business.”
