Bathroom products specialist moves into new industrial property

Bathroom and tile product specialist Cubico Bathrooms has signed a three-year lease on Towngate’s Unit C, Scheme 3 at Copperworks, Haigh Park Road, Leeds.

Cubico has acquired the 55,000 sq ft industrial space via Towngate – in addition to its existing 110,000 sq ft warehouse in Birstall – to boost its storage and distribution processes, and support its 60% turnover increase in the last 12 months.

The brand stocks over 1,000 products – including baths, showers, taps and tiles – and distributes them to other businesses, showrooms and property developers throughout the UK.

Unit C forms part of a larger 180,000 sq ft warehouse/distribution property, which is close to the city centre as well as major motorway junctions, which will allow Cubico to keep up with increasing demand, and continue to provide quality customer service.

The site also benefits from 360° circulation and ample parking.

Craig Waddington, founder of Cubico, said: “We’ve reached storage capacity at our current site in Birstall, so we needed to expand our storage capabilities and Towngate has been fantastic in offering us affordable additional storage to help the company continue to grow.”
