Funding support for print and marketing services business

Leeds-based company, Resource, has bought new kit and equipment with funding from Barclays.
The money from Barclays has supported the purchase of new environmentally friendly equipment using Green Asset Finance.
Established in 1996, Resource has a team of 60 and is based on the outskirts of Leeds city centre. It is a Full-Service Agency providing multi-channel creative and printing solutions.
Following the acquisition of Tebays in 2017 it has added Event Management to its service portfolio and the company is expected to exceed a £10m turnover in 2020. The new equipment will provide a foundation for its future plans.
Resource says it is “hugely proud” of its multi-generational workforce.
A spokesman for the company said: “Resource not only recognises the skills and experience of people who started their journey with us, but also supports graduate and apprenticeship programmes to build for the future and develop technology, creativity and diversity.
“Our multiple award nominations and impressive trophy cabinet provides a nod to what we are achieving out in our field and we are proud of the recognition this brings to the company.”
Gail Weathers, HR & performance director, said: “We have rounded the year off by scooping the SME Company of The Year award at this month’s prestigious Print Awards.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the acknowledgement of the journey we have been on and excited about the one that is still to come. The funding from Barclays will support our future growth plans and our continued commitment to being an employer of choice.”
Genna Morgan, Barclays relationship director, put together the funding package for the deal. She said: “This is a significant and pivotal milestone for the future of Resource, as it paves the way for further expansion and growth.
“The new equipment is a key part of their ambitious plans for the coming years and their ability to operate both efficiently and reduce their impact on the environment is testament to their professionalism.
“I’m delighted to have been able to support with funding for their continued growth.”
