The addition of the Yorkshire integration of solutions reseller creates a £27m turnover business. It also provides Avoira clients access to a £10 million inventory. This includes 7,000 stock lines across services including call management, audio and video-conferencing units, public address, cabling and networking products.

Rocom is the latest acquisition for the business followings its creation last July by the merger of North West firms Pennine and Videonations with Bristol business Co- Channel.

Andrew Roberst, Avoira’s managing director, commented: “The solutions our clients seek increasingly span technological boundaries which are, in any case, becoming blurred through the convergence of technologies.

“Avoira is now best placed to serve everyone from SMEs requiring relatively straightforward communications solutions, through to major corporates looking to fulfil complex, multi-service tenders.”
