Weekender: Street food inspired dessert for pancake day

Leeds based restaurant, Bundobust, has something special lined for Pancake Day.

The Indian street food chain, which started off in Yorkshire before expanding to Liverpool and Manchester, will serve a new featuring the iconic Indian street food pancake, the dosa.

The new dessert features two pancakes made from rice flour – one flavoured with mango and one with rose – served with shrikand, a traditional hung yoghurt sweetened and flavoured with cardamom, and topped with mango ras, pistachio, and fresh pomegranate.

The dish is only available for seven days starting on Monday 24 February.
