Previously derelict city building will be back in business

A prominent city-centre landmark in the heart of Sheffield is to be declared open for business after being vacant for over a decade.

The former Deacon House, which will now be known as Wizu Workspace 32 Eyre Street, will be officially opened by Lord Mayor Tony Dowling at a launch on February 27.

It will see hundreds of creatives, entrepreneurs and business owners from the local community come together to network and celebrate the re-opening of a once run-down building.

Thanks to a recent multi-million pound refurbishment, guests will be able to enjoy a tour of the property which comprises private office suites, co-working spaces, event space and meeting rooms.

In addition, complimentary food and drink will be provided, as well as a free co-working day.
