How businesses should tackle the issue of harassment

TheBusinessdesk.com in partnership with international law firm CMS, will host a seminar looking at the impacts of and responses to harassment in the workplace.

Over the last three years thanks to the #MeToo movement, harassment in the workplace has been hitting the headlines.

This means businesses and individuals are being held accountable for their actions more than ever before.

In today’s digital world these stories can spread quickly and can have a significant impact on a business’s reputation and brand.

This seminar on 19 March brings together a panel of experts – from the legal, HR and communications sectors to discuss how businesses can put in place strategies to deal with damaging and harmful allegations, how they should respond both from a reputational and legal perspective and the wider implications on staff, recruitment and brand.

The panellists will each deliver a brief presentation followed by a panel session looking at the various implications of dealing with inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.

The event is free to attend and demand for tickets is expected to be high so early booking is recommended.

It will run from 8am to 10.30am on Thursday 19 March at the DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel, at Granary Wharf, Leeds. Click here to book tickets.
