Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks for charity

TheBusinessDesk.com is working with outdoor activity organiser Will 4 Adventure to bring Yorkshire’s business communities together to raise funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA).

People interested in getting involved in this charity trek in the Yorkshire Dales on 22 May will have 12 hours to complete a mountain marathon walk – taking in Yorkshire’s three biggest hills.

It will be a chance to walk with like-minded business executives, while raising money for an amazing Yorkshire charity, which currently costs £12,000 a day to remain operational.

Participants will be put into teams of approximately eight before the event. All teams will have a qualified mountain leader to guide them, so no previous experience is required. On the day teams will start the challenge at Horton in Ribblesdale between 7am and 8am with staggered starts.

The route will take in Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, and anyone wanting to take part should click here.

Whatever the weather, the trek will go ahead. However, if people are ill-equipped and their safety on the hill looks as if it will be compromised, organisers reserve the right to withdraw them from the event.

Joining instructions will be provided prior to the walk.

Supporting partners for the event are YFM Equity Partners, Squire Patton Boggs, Grant Thornton and Endless.
