Warehouse acquisition to help drive plumbing and heating specialist’s growth

Duftons Plumbing and Heating, which currently has eight outlets in Yorkshire and is headquartered in Leeds, has secured its first distribution warehouse in Bradford at the Thornton Road Industrial Estate.

Duftons, which was established since 1986 and has a turnover in the region of £18m, supplies into both the trade and domestic markets.

The business has said it sees Bradford as a strong opportunity and a natural location to further the growth of its trade. In line with its strategy, three new jobs have been created.

Nigel Fowler, the managing director who has been with Duftons since the business started, said: “The Thornton Road Industrial Estate is a good location for us, we have employed a new branch manager from the area to develop our reputation in Bradford and the surrounding area.”
