Retailer invests in its latest showroom at industrial park

Easy Bathrooms, a Leeds-headquartered brand, has opened its third showroom in the region following a £100,000 investment in the fit-out of a new industrial unit in Seacroft.

The retailer opened its first showroom in 2012 at Lower Wortley, Leeds, and has since gone on to expand nationally, with 48 stores now located throughout the UK.

With a return to its roots, Easy Bathrooms recently opened the doors to its latest showroom at Limewood Park in Seacroft, following an extensive fit-out of the 6,000 sq ft unit, creating four new jobs.

With over 100 displays, the premises boasts ranges from Burlington, Calypso and Vitra and showcases the latest styles, such as moonlight and geometric-patterned tiles.

It welcomes both the public and trade, with incentives offered to business account holders.

The company has a 110,000 sq ft warehouse in Birstall, alongside a new 55,000 sq ft site at Copperworks in Leeds, which are home to thousands of bathroom and tile product lines.

Craig Waddington, founder of Easy Bathrooms, said: “When I founded Easy Bathrooms seven years ago, the goal was to create a national, recognisable brand, with showrooms throughout the UK, so customers could see and feel the quality of our products, alongside great customer service and attention to detail.

“For the first few years, we grew at a steady pace, but the past couple of years has seen us grow at a steep but consistent rate.

“At a time when many bathroom brands are struggling, we are growing in an ethical and steadfast way, and we believe it’s because we’re sticking to our principles of quality products at fair, affordable prices.

“I am very proud to have our third space in Leeds. We employ 310 people nationally, and almost 150 people here in the region, whilst supporting hundreds of other businesses within our supply chain.”

Easy Bathrooms has 11 stores in Yorkshire.
