Team grows as landmark development moves towards completion

A prominent residential development in York city centre has expanded its on-site team as it moves into the last six months of building work.

Ryedale House, on Piccadilly, is being transformed by Newby into 77 one, two and three-bedroom luxury apartments, with prices ranging from £250,000 to £1.25m.

It is set over seven floors, with the ground floor featuring a residents’ entrance, complemented by a concierge service and parking.

Building began in summer 2018 and is due to complete in summer 2020.

Newby has grown the team based at the development, as well as extending the opening times of the ground floor marketing suite, in the build up to the initial Phase one launch event which will take place later in the spring.

The marketing suite at Ryedale House is now accessible from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

Stephen Maskill has joined the team as sales and marketing director at Ryedale House to lead the delivery of the sales process and customer engagement at the development, along with Newby’s wider portfolio of properties.

He brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the property sector. He is also joined by two sales consultants, Ian Bradford and Sharon Wilcock.

Set alongside the River Foss, Ryedale House is the tallest residential building in York.

All apartments feature floor to ceiling windows to maximise the views and open plan living areas. The building will also include secure parking, cycle stores and storage lockers.

Maskill said: “I am very proud to be joining the Newby team, particularly given the exciting few months we have ahead at Ryedale House as we move towards the official launch.

“Newby is renowned for creating amazing developments set within exceptional locations and I am confident these unique apartments will exceed all expectations, creating one of York’s most desirable addresses.”
