Doncaster-based Keepmoat Homes is pausing activity at its building sites, as the coronavirus crisis impact extends to the construction industry.

A notice released by the company today – 25 March – says Keepmoat’s showhomes are also temporarily closed.

The notice to customers adds: “Our working-from-home colleagues remain available for telephone and video calls to support you.

“As a responsible business, we have taken the decision to close all of our sites. As construction on our developments pauses – and importantly while those sites are made safe and secure – there will be a limited amount of essential work taking place.

“The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, our people and our contractors is our top priority and we will continue to adhere to Government advice on social distancing.”
