Sign manufacturer has new direction

SIGN designer and manufacturer Scriptus is expanding its services with the launch of a new consultancy.
The Bradford-based firm has set up wayfinding, which creates signage frameworks and offers brand identity services.
To support clients aiming for a strategic approach to their corporate identity Scriptus has introduced an end-to-end design solution including brand creation and the development of logos to enhance its offering of signage design and installation.
Scriptus has supplied signage strategies for firms and organisations including Bradford Chamber of Commerce Business Park, Bradford University, York Racecourse, Henderson Global Investors and HBOS.
Managing director Michael Jackson said: “There have been some dramatic changes in technology over the last 30 years which have helped the sign industry to offer a better package to its clients.
“The introduction of services such as digital printing and the use of more environmentally friendly products such as LED’s, combined with the use of computer controlled machines, have all enhanced the quality and choice available. Yet the principles and virtues of good sign-making and wayfinding have not changed. Creating clear, distinctive identification is as important today as it was years ago.”
