German manufacturer establishes UK sales HQ in Yorkshire

A tile profile manufacturer based in Germany has expanded its business into the UK and set up a sales HQ in Barnsley as it looks to make its mark on the UK market.

alferpro, a supplier of premium tile profiles, has moved into a 5,000 sq ft warehouse at Carlton Industrial Estate and quickly recorded its first sale.

Juan Sánchez, from alferpro UK ltd, said: “We’re excited to be set up in Barnsley. It has fantastic links geographically and will allow us to establish our business across the whole of the UK.

“We’ve had success as a company in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and other European countries, so we feel we can continue our growth in the UK and we’re pleased to have Enterprising Barnsley on side to help where possible.”

“It’s a difficult time for the majority of businesses, but for alferpro to have set up and started recording sales is testament to them.

The alferpro product range offers a range of tile profiles, and channels as well as products for sealing, decoupling and draining.
