Property group continues growth through acquisition

RFM Group, a property group specialising in construction, facilities management and maintenance is continuing its growth plan with the acquisition of Hevertech.

The Yeadon-based business, has acquired Hevertech, which provides energy solutions such as air conditioning, heating, ventilation and electrical services, to a wide range of clients including Lidl, National Rail and Mecca Bingo, after it fell into administration in April.

Ian Flanagan, RFM Group CEO said “Hevertech earned a strong reputation as a market leader providing energy solutions for building services. Their ethos and reputation complement RFM Group’s property expertise, built on technology. I see great potential to develop their services by utilising RFM’s robust processes and smart technology.”

This is the second acquisition for RFM, following its purchase of Ashlynn Ltd in 2019.

The deal will supports the firm’s focus on increasing its share of the commercial, retail and education construction and facilities management market.

Hevertech, which is based in Leeds, will eventually be integrated into group’s growing construction division, with both existing and new customers be able to benefit from RFM’s strong technology-led operation.
