Employment boost as kitchens retailer launches showroom

A Wren Kitchens showroom in Wakefield’s Westgate Retail Park has officially opened its doors.

The kitchen retailer is continuing with its UK expansion plans, by opening its 94th showroom, creating 20 jobs for the local area in retail, design and surveying.

Customers will be able to visualise kitchens using dual screen 3D software and panoramas, as well as experiencing products in virtual reality in a dedicated VR studio.

Wren Kitchens’ Wakefield Showroom manager, Bradley Cousins, said: “We’re excited to open our doors in Wakefield.

“Wakefield is a thriving and vibrant city, and we’re delighted to open our doors to local customers and help them in designing their dream kitchens.”

He added the business plans more showroom openings in 2020, with the hundredth expected to launch in September.
