Work completes on 34-home housing scheme

A housing development at Kirby Hill, near Boroughbridge, has now been completed.

The finishing touches to the prime Priory Meadows development, by North Yorkshire-based Caedmon Homes, have just been applied.

Tholthorpe landscape architect, Simon Bowler, completed the housing scheme by adding porches to three of the properties.

The development comprises 34 homes, ranging from three-beds to five-beds, with prices starting from £377,500. More than 60% of the development has been sold.

Paul Brown, director of Caedmon Homes, said: “We have chosen the location of this development extremely carefully.

“Kirby Hill is a pretty rural village near the flourishing market town of Boroughbridge and within minutes of the A1 motorway, providing easy commuting access to York, Harrogate, Leeds and Newcastle.”

James Baker, of marketing agents Preston Baker, said: “There is a lot of local competition for new build-houses in the immediate area with three sites within a couple of miles.

“We have agreed four sales since lockdown, which is a superb return – and a massive endorsement of this stunning development. There are now only 12 houses left to buy.”
