Three Leeds venues have appointed administrators.

Viaduct Showbar, Fibre and Mission all located in the city centre and part of APN group have appointed Darren Brookes and Molly Monks of Milner Boardman & Partners.

In a statement made at the end of July, a spokesperson for Mission said that Covid-19 was “forcing businesses to make sad decisions” and that it was “with a heavy heart and deep filled sadness that we have to close our business until further notice.”

However, a spokesperson for Milner, Boardman & Partners confirmed this morning that the three venues went into administration on 31 July.

All three bars formed part of Armley-born entrepreneur, Terry George’s APN Group.

However, the Yorkshire businessman has recently set up 168 Briggate – which is the address for Fibre – suggesting that this vehicle may acquire at least that venue.

TheBusinessDesk.com has approached George for comment.
