Clarion has continued to expand its team with the appointment of Gareth Marland as legal director in its private client practice in Leeds.

With experience of handling matters for wealthy individuals, including inheritance tax planning, trusts and wills, having spent over 12 years in the private client team at a Harrogate law firm where he developed specialisms in advising farming clients and business owners.

Viv Wild, partner and head of Clarion’s private client practice, commented, “With his strong track record of advising entrepreneurs, business owners, farming families and landowners, Gareth brings additional expertise, complementing the skills of our growing team.

Leeds engineering specialists RWO has appointed Jamie Corbett as director of structures.

The role will see Corbett working alongside the senior management team at the Park Place-based firm on planned strategic growth, new business development, client liaison, and developing a team of engineers and technical specialists.

He brings almost 20 years of experience and expertise as a consultant structural engineer and comes as RWO continues to invest in resources to drive business growth.

Huddersfield based communications agency KC Communications has employed Chloe Kerfoot as digital marketing apprentice, following a successful end to its financial year with revenues increasing by 25%.

Having originally undertaken a work placement with the agency while a student at Mirfield Free Grammar in 2017, Chloe went on to Huddersfield New College to undertake A levels in English, Media and Business before commencing her apprenticeship at the beginning of August. Alongside her role, Chloe will also study for a level 3 Digital Marketing qualification with Leeds based, Estio Training.
