More jobs on the way as accident repair group expands

Accident repair specialist, React Accident Repair Group, is set to open brand-new premises in Scunthorpe in October.

Work is well underway on the new React Accident Repair Centre, which will initially create around 12 new jobs in the area, growing to 20 over the next year.

React is owned by John Pattinson, Barry Whittles and Chris Elton, who joined forces two years ago with the formation of React Accident Repair Group, which subsequently acquired The Paint & Body Shop in Hull.

Notably, The Paint & Body Shop maintained operations throughout the coronavirus crisis, providing vital services for key workers.

As a result, its commercial partnerships with insurance industry partners have strengthened still further, a key driver behind this significant expansion for the Group.

Pattinson, MD of React Accident Repair Group, said: “Many may think that the current economic climate would make this a challenging time to expand but, for us, we feel the timing is perfect.

“The support of our incredible team has meant we are experiencing higher levels of demand for our services than ever before and it’s really exciting to be expanding into North Lincolnshire to capitalise on this momentum.

“As a Group, our business ethos, values and structure are rooted here in East Yorkshire.

“As such, we are passionately invested in our regional economy and look forward to playing our part in creating new job opportunities and ensuring our service centres have a lasting, profound and positive impact on the communities in which we are based.”
