Architectural practice eyes expansion with office move

A Leeds-based architectural practice has boosted growth plans with a move to new premises as it continues to invest to accommodate future expansion.

PDG Architectural has completed its relocation to office space in Killingbeck Office Village at Killingbeck Court on the outskirts of East Leeds, just off the A64.

Its move is the latest phase of an ambitious expansion strategy by PDG Architectural, which was established in 2017 and currently employs six people.

The firm plans to grow its presence on the back of additional capacity and investment in additional expertise as it continues to secure new private and commercial work across Yorkshire and the wider North of England region.

This includes several property firms which are bringing forward their own investment and development plans, including the Priestley Group, OTP Investments, Immedilet and NPP Group.

Led by managing director Andy Pickup, who has extensive experience of working on large scale projects, the new 2,000 sq ft office space will support the expansion of the pre-planning, design, fit-out and project management services provided to support residential, industrial and commercial, healthcare and retail sector developments.

PDG Architectural is now recruiting for new roles in Leeds.

Pickup said: “The move to our new office is hugely significant as it provides the perfect platform for the ongoing implementation of our ambitious growth plans and the introduction of new services in the next 12 months.

“We are seeing strong growth across core markets with a healthy forward order book and this new office strengthens our delivery capability. It’s a really exciting time for us, the team and our clients.”
