The show must go on(line)

TheBusinessDesk.com’s 2020 Yorkshire Business Masters, the awards which seek to recognise and celebrate of the region’s business achievements will go online for the first time in its 10 year history.

As the country and the region continues to battle the current Covid-19 pandemic and amidst evolving guidelines from the Government the decision has been taken to host this year’s celebration virtually. The event will still take place on 22 October but rather than being dressed to impress at The Queens attendees will be given access to a special stream, so they can still put on their black tie or gown and join the celebrations from home.

Yorkshire editor, Ben Ormsby said: “Although we wish we could all come together at a physical event to celebrate our region’s successes, the challenges posed by Covid-19 mean this year we will take a different approach. But I and everyone at TheBusinessDesk.com, believe against such a challenging backdrop it is important to remember,  celebrate and highlight why Yorkshire is such as fantastic location for  businesses to grow and succeed.”

Ormsby added, “Thank you to all of our sponsors including Murray Harcourt, BoxPhish, Clique 100, Evai,  In the Circle, Lupton Fawcett, Sheffield City Region, Test-D and Together for their continued support.”
