Recruitment consultancy moves to office in listed former mill

A specialist recruitment consultancy has agreed to a lease agreement in a former mill in Leeds.

MCG Construction has taken a three-year lease at Marshall’s Mill, moving into 618 sq ft of office space on the first floor within the Grade II listed building, on the South Bank of Leeds.

Part of The MCG Group, MCG Construction is a specialist construction consultancy business, providing recruitment solutions and construction logistics to companies and projects in the UK.

Dan Ruscoe, regional manager at MCG Construction, said: “We had been looking to move from our previous offices for a while until I recommended Marshall’s Mill to the team.

“The estate’s location is perfect with the surrounding expansions continuous around the city centre.

“I also have many fond memories from visiting the mill’s events in the past, and all I could remember was the sense of community and fantastic events.

“Whether it was for networking or leisure, there was always something happening at the mill, which is great for our employees who enjoy mingling and meeting new people.”

Paul Taylor, of Creative Space Management, said: “With the past few months being very turbulent and difficult for many businesses across all sectors, it’s great to see that some businesses have been able to continue and expand.

“We are grateful that MCG Construction has chosen Marshall’s Mill’s friendly, fun yet professional community and look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow in Leeds.”

The lettings were facilitated by Creative Space Management, acting as joint agents with Knight Frank.
