Bathroom seller set to make a splash at retail park

Fiera Real Estate, working jointly with Savills and Rees Denton, has secured a deal which will see Easy Bathrooms open a new store at Beck Retail Park in Wakefield.

The nationwide bathrooms retailer has agreed a new 10-year lease for the 8,720 sq ft store at unit 4B of the park, and is due to open this autumn.

Situated on Ings Road near Wakefield town centre, Beck Retail Park is the largest retail warehousing scheme in the area, comprising a total of 212,090 sq ft of retail space.

Existing brands at the park include Sainsbury’s, Matalan, Home Bargains, The Range and B&M with one unit still available to let at 20,000 sq ft, situated at first floor level.

Catherine Barnard, associate director in the out of town retail team at Savills, said: “The commitment from Easy Bathrooms to open a new store at Beck Retail Park is testament to the strength of the scheme, and the high calibre of retailers already trading.

“Located in a prime position on the outskirts of the town, there is now one unit remaining at the park and we look forward to securing a final occupier to complete the excellent line up.”
