82,000 sq ft production unit comes to market

Avison Young has commenced marketing of the 82,000 sq ft former Hydro factory on the well-established Barbot Hall Industrial Estate in Rotherham.

The unit which is available on a freehold and leasehold comes to market as demand for production and distribution space remains high and follows the announcement by Hydro that it would close its Rotherham site and relocate production to a site in Gloucester.

“The Sheffield / Rotherham area, like many, is struggling with a real stock shortage, as new build development is still at relatively low levels, and we are seeing few secondhand units come to the market.”
