Plumbing and heating business looking to recruit more engineers

Wakefield-based plumbing and heating company, Plumbcare.com, says it wants to take on heating engineers who may have found themselves unemployed due to the pandemic related downturn.

It is currently recruiting for several engineer roles to meet the demand of the upcoming winter period.

Tom Scott, operations manager at Plumbcare.com, said: “We know that there are many good gas engineers that have found themselves unemployed due to the current climate.

“This must be incredibly stressful, especially coming up to Christmas. We have several vacancies to fill, because we’re always extremely busy over the winter period, so we’d like to prioritise anyone who is currently out of work. It seems like the perfect solution.”

Plumbcare.com specialises in reactive plumbing and heating and primarily works for some of the UK’s leading insurance companies, delivering services covered by their home emergency and boiler cover policies.

It is currently seeking engineers in Wakefield, Leeds, York, Sheffield, and Nottingham.
