Electrical wholesaler’s expansion sparks interest in refurbished trade park
Another letting has been confirmed at a North Leeds trade counter estate.
Gent Visick, which negotiated the latest lease, says there is now just one remaining unit available at Ribston Trade Park, on Roundhay Road.
Electrical wholesaler, Denmans, has taken Unit One on a new 10-year lease. The business was founded in 1946, and is part of Rexel, a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies and services to the industrial, commercial and residential markets.
Denmans is headquartered in Bristol and has over 70 branches throughout the UK.
This is its first branch in Leeds and it has initially created four new jobs at the site.
The company will use its Leeds base to sell thousands of products, from underfloor heating and LED lighting to heating and ventilation supplies, lighting, smart home accessories and power tools, to the electrical trade industry.

“Leeds and the surrounding areas have many thousands of potential customers who can enjoy our professional range of 12,500 electricians’ products, ready for delivery or collection in under a minute.

“Our arrival at Ribston Trade Park further complements our other established Yorkshire branches in Huddersfield and York.”

“This deal marks the third unit let to a national trade counter occupier in as many months, and we anticipate significant interest in the last remaining unit.”
The Trade Park is already home to national trade counter occupiers Eurocell and City Plumbing Supplies while Jewson, Selco, Screwfix, Toolstation, Edmundson Electrical, Topps Tiles and GSF Car Parts are all within close proximity.
