UK distribution deal for specialist hydraulics group
South Yorkshire-based Neilson Hydraulics & Engineering Ltd and its sister company VHS Hydraulic Components Ltd have signed a major distribution deal.
The businesses, which produce power packs, hydraulic systems and supply hydraulic components, have been appointed official UK distributor for Germany-based IMO, a specialist in antifriction bearing technology.
IMO manufacturers Slew Drives and Slewing Rings that can be used in a variety of applications including forestry, agriculture, mining, man-lift platforms, maritime applications, machine construction and plant engineering.
Rob Turner, managing director of Neilson Hydraulics and VHS Hydraulic Components said: “We have been working closely with IMO for nearly 10 years now on different projects and this news of the appointment in both companies comes with great excitement.
“We look forward to more collaboration with them in the UK marketplace.”
John Loonam, technical sales & marketing manager at IMO, added: “Neilson Hydraulics and VHS Hydraulic Components bring technical knowledge and the ability to engineer a total solution using IMO products, they are a key distributor for us.”
Neilson Hydraulics and VHS Hydraulic Components supply hydraulic components and solutions to companies in the agriculture, construction, engineering, farming, materials handling, marine, plastics, recycling and steel industry.
The group also designs and makes hydraulic systems, power packs and cylinders at its two factories in Sheffield and Rotherham, close to the Advanced Manufacturing Park.
