Freight operator and fencing supplier snap up space at business park

Direct Rail Services, a UK national freight operator, has moved into the West Moor Park Networkcentre in Doncaster, taking a three-year lease on a 2,045 sq ft unit.

The deal follows hot on the heels of local business, Rethync’s expansion at the site.

The fencing supplier already occupied two units and has expanded into a third, taking its office and storage space at the site up to almost 7,000 sq ft.

Doncaster-based NSM agreed the two deals and currently has the final unit under offer.

Helen Gordon, associate director from NSM, said: “The Networkcentres offer adaptable space for small to medium sized businesses and it is great to see that they also appeal to national companies such as Direct Rail Services when seeking a new regional base.

“As there is such a shortage of industrial space in the region and these flexible units also offer high quality offices, they are in high demand.

“We are delighted to see Rethync expand on the site and we look forward to securing a third tenant shortly which will mean the site is fully let.”

West Moor Park Networkcentre is close to junction 4 of the M18, offering easy access onto the M1, A1 and M62.

It provides 17 workspace units ranging from 805 to almost 3,500 sq ft as well as five offices. It has attracted businesses ranging from accountants to engineering companies.
