Accident repair business launches operations at new site

An accident repair specialist has now opened a premises in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. 

React Group’s site, on Foxhills Industrial Estate, has launched with a new team of skilled technicians and customer service staff, which is set to grow in number over the next year.

React is owned by John Pattinson, Barry Whittles and Chris Elton, respected figures in the industry who joined forces two years ago with the formation of React Accident Repair Group, which subsequently acquired The Paint & Body Shop in Hull.

The Paint & Body Shop maintained its operations throughout the first Covid-19 lockdown and remains fully open during the current lockdown, providing services for key workers. 

As a result, its commercial links with insurance industry partnerships have strengthened further, a key driver behind this significant expansion for the Group.  

John Pattinson, MD of the Group, said: “The support of our incredible team has meant that we are experiencing higher levels of demand for our services than ever before, so we’re delighted to have opened the doors to our new workshop in Scunthorpe.

“Of course, the current lockdown is proving to be a stressful time for businesses across the UK and in all sectors but we are delighted to say that we are very much open for business.” 

The business is offering a discount for emergency services Blue Light Card holders.

Pattinson added: “We are dedicated to providing a reliable service for those who need us throughout this lockdown.

“We know from the first two lockdowns that many key workers found it difficult to find repair and bodyshops that were trading throughout, so we want to reassure all drivers in the region that we are here to help.

“Our emergency services are doing an incredible job in these challenging times, so we are delighted to be able to give something back to them and make a small gesture to simply say, ‘thank you.'”
