Move to larger premises marks “start of exciting year” for security provider

Wakefield-based commercial security firm, Oracle Vision & Oracle Fire, has relocated to larger premises in the first step of its ambitious growth plans over what it describes as “a really exciting year for the team”.

The company, which provides security, fire detection and data services to large, complex organisations across Yorkshire and the North West, intends to fill the space through internal growth and acquisition this year.

The organisation remains at the Nostell Estate, which has accommodated the move within its business park.

By taking on a larger space, the firm says it will be able to bring the two sides of its business – Oracle Fire and Oracle Security and Data – alongside one another.

Chris Lakin, co-founder of Oracle Vision, said: “This is the beginning of a really exciting year for the team and we’re thrilled to kick start things in a new, bigger space.

“It’ll fill up fast as we hire new sales representatives, and undertake an acquisition by the end of the year.”

For Oracle Vision & Oracle Fire, the expansion is the latest development in its 17-year history, which has seen it grow to offer CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, fire detection and wireless solutions.

Its current plans will also see the company upgrade its operational software and launch enhanced features to its services.

The Athelward Suite, converted from agricultural buildings in the 1990s, offers office space for both businesses to expand comfortably despite the restrictions of COVID-19 requirements.

Peter Molyneux, estate director at the Nostell Estate, adds: “We are delighted that Oracle Vision are able to continue their remarkable success and grow within our business community here at the Nostell Estate.”
