Property investment firm builds on strong foundations for expansion

Leeds-based property investment company ERE Property has made appointments to its management and wider team as it embarks on growth plans for 2021 and beyond.

The business, which also has a Hong Kong office, is moving to new, larger offices in Leeds city centre in May.

Its latest recruits include commercial director Claire Lowcock, who has worked in property and lettings for over 14 years and has a wealth of experience in business generation, coaching, training, sales progression, management, branch management and process inspection.

Another newcomer is marketing manager Susan Preston, a former journalist, author, content, marketing, PR and communications professional with over 30 years’ experience.

The company has also taken on more recruits in its sales and lettings teams.

Helen Mercer-Jones, managing director of ERE Property, said: “While the last year has been a huge challenge, we have taken the opportunity to reset.

“Property remains a strong investment opportunity with low interest rates and good exchange rates for overseas investors, and rather than recoil we have pressed ahead with our plans to strengthen our offering, grow our team and expand.

“We have an exceptionally strong team in place and are well-placed to press ahead with our expansion plans for both sales and lettings.

“It has been a rollercoaster year for everyone, and we feel proud as a company to be opening up jobs and recruiting during this time.

“We are looking at taking a graduate on too as we appreciate how extremely tough it is for them at the moment.

“I have seen first-hand how the pandemic has affected young people and we would like to help get someone on the career ladder.”
