Yorkshire-based vehicle retailer JCT600 is now representing British motoring brand MG Motor UK at its premises in Sticker Lane, Bradford.

Initially, MG will be sharing JCT600’s Mitsubishi Motors dealership at 99 Sticker Lane to display its hatchbacks, sports wagons and SUVs as well as providing servicing and parts.

John Tordoff, chief executive for JCT600, said: “With a history dating back to 1924, MG is famous for building sporty, exciting and value-for-money cars and it’s now one of the fastest growing car brands in the UK, thanks to its superb range of affordable electric vehicles.

“We’re always on the look-out for new opportunities and MG will complement our existing brands in our home city of Bradford.”

Guy Pigounakis, commercial director for MG, said: “We are delighted to welcome JCT600 to the MG family and are extremely excited about the potential the new partnership gives to both MG and to JCT600 as we expand our network.

“Bradford and the surrounding area is a key strategic growth opportunity for us and with JCT600’s impressive reputation, excellent customer service and established motor trade experience, it makes the group a perfect partner for us in the region.”

MG is the latest to join JCT600’s portfolio of 25 marques. Its existing portfolio includes other volume brands including Volkswagen, Vauxhall, Mazda, Peugeot, Citroen, Cupra, Kia, Mitsubishi and SEAT.

Whilst current lockdown restrictions are in place, the full range of vehicles are still available to view, reserve and buy online.

For owners, JCT600’s MG service, maintenance, repair and MOT testing services are all open by appointment only, supported by contactless drop off and collection.

Founded in 1946 JCT600 remains a family owned and run business. It is now in its 75th year of trading, operating 54 dealerships in Yorkshire, the North East, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
