Online learning provider launches recruitment drive to meet demand

Due to a rise in demand for virtual learning during lockdown Yorkshire-based online learning provider, The Skills Network, has doubled in size in just one year and is recruiting for over 30 new roles.

Currently employing over 200 members of staff and around 250 freelance distance learning tutors, The Skills Network has grown rapidly

It is now actively looking to recruit individuals with different skillsets and experience.

The Skills Network is the largest employer in Selby, North Yorkshire, and supplies online learning courses, staff training and apprenticeship programmes to businesses nationwide.

The business is focused on continuing to expand and improve the technology arm of the business.

Mark Dawe, CEO at The Skills Network, said: “As we head further into lockdown 3.0, we continue to face uncertainty and disruption to the delivery of education and training, so the need for upskilling or reskilling teams online has never been higher.

“Our sustained growth alongside the demand for this way of learning means that we are now looking for 31 new people to join our business, but the number of additional roles required is growing daily.

“Our online distance learning courses, staff training and apprenticeship programmes have helped numerous businesses reach their training and development goals.

“Looking at how the business is expanding and how online learning is becoming the norm, we’re now in a great place to take our services even further by welcoming specialist and talented individuals who can support us with our vision of becoming the number one provider of technology-based learning and skills in the UK.”

The Skills Network is looking to recruit for a variety of roles across digital, PR, videography, sales, business development, quality, and compliance.
