Extensive refurbishment completed at city office premises

A refurbishment programme at 2 The Embankment, one of Leeds’s prime Grade A office buildings, has been completed.

The prominent building is on Sovereign Street at the junction with Neville Street, a key gateway to the city centre.

2 The Embankment, which was once occupied by Yorkshire Water, is now offering suites from between 825 sq ft to 27,373 sq ft with more space options for small as well as larger businesses.

Upgrades to the building’s interior include full raised access floors, suspended ceilings, modern integrated lighting, refurbished lifts and new air conditioning.

A cycle hub, shower facilities and electric vehicle charging points are also provided.

Eamon Fox, partner at the Leeds office of Knight Frank, appointed to market the building, said: “2 The Embankment is recognised as a prime site in the good company of well-known international corporate firms.

“Due to the space configurations, the building is ideal for the Creative and Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) sectors as well as corporate industries in collaborative enterprise.

“The fact that we can provide high quality suites from just 825 sq ft with private entrance options, riverside views and courtyard space in such a prime city location has proved attractive and we are currently in negotiations with a number of interested occupiers.”
