Technology group on rebrand journey following acquisition

Tracsis, which provides software, hardware and services for transport industries, has strengthened its transport consultancy offer through an acquisition and launched new Group-wide branding.

Following the purchase of Flash Forward Consulting (FFC) the Leeds-based business says it is creating a new business unit called Tracsis Transport Consultancy which will include both FFC and its existing rail consulting and passenger analytics business, employing around 35 staff.

Alex Warner, chief executive and founder of Flash Forward Consulting, who will take up the role of managing director of the new business unit said: “I am extremely pleased that Flash Forward has joined the Tracsis Group. The two businesses have worked together for a number of years and I’m very excited to be able to utilise the experience and expertise across the Tracsis Group to provide innovative solutions to transport industry clients going forward.”

Alongside the acquisition, the firm is rolling out new branding to all its businesses units. The new design aims to broaden awareness of the firms breadth of services and is scheduled to be fully implemented out by summer 2021.

Chris Barnes, chief executive officer, at Tracsis said: “One of my key objectives since becoming CEO has been to strengthen the Tracsis brand, broadening the transport industries’ awareness of our breadth of products and services whilst enhancing collaboration and integration across the Group. Today’s announcement is an important milestone on this journey.”
