New premises approved for ventilations systems manufacturer

EnviroVent, based at Hornbeam Business Park, has confirmed its planning application for new premises on a business park at Burley Bank Road in Harrogate has been approved.

The application was for a building which will comprise almost 17,000 sq ft of office space, over 13,000 sq ft for the assembly of ventilation products and over 30,000 sq ft of storage space.

The business currently operates across two sites – and the plans will bring its training suite, manufacturing, storage and head office into one purpose-built unit.

EnviroVent’s managing director, Andy Makin, said: “This is fantastic news and will really give our business a tremendous boost.

“The new premises will make us so much more efficient, by operating on one single purpose-built site, which should bring numerous benefits for staff and customers.

“Community is really important to us and with the new premises we are showing our commitment to investing in our future here in Harrogate.

“We hope to be able to create even more local employment at the new premises, which will become a flagship facility in the UK for the very best ventilation solutions.”

Daniel Martin, director of Teakwood Developments, the developers involved with the project added: “We are very pleased that the planning application at Burley Bank Road has been approved.

“We now look forward to being able to move forward with the exciting plans that EnviroVent has for the new building.”
