Content agency launched by Yorkshire businessman

Leeds-based businessman is taking his new content agency global to help companies around the world boost their international profile.

Business owner Mark Williams has combined his love for writing and travel to create Lightbox Content Agency, a venture focused on helping businesses sell themselves through copywriting, journalism and PR.

After taking the leap to into self-employment in 2020, he plans to take his agency around the globe with him as he travels the world.

Williams said: “I have enjoyed working for some brilliant organisations in my career so far, but being self-employed gives me the flexibility to build a writing career while pursuing my other passion at the same time, which is travelling.

“I only need a laptop with internet connection to work from anywhere in the world and I can split my time between exploring countries and earning a living, which is the perfect combination for me and was the driving force behind creating my own business.”

He has amassed a global network of clients including businesses in Saudi Arabia and America

Although current COVID-19 restrictions have put a halt on foreign travel, he plans to continue his work overseas when it is safe to do, with ideas in the pipeline to scale up his business.

Mark said: “Starting out in the middle of the pandemic showed me it’s not all doom and gloom, there are still lots of businesses out there doing exciting things and they want to tell the world about their success.

“Now Lightbox is establishedI’m working with a group of specialised writers who can help meet demand as the business grows and attracts new clients.”
