Sports bar set to bring bottomless brunch and live music to Chapel Allerton

Leeds’ sports bar brand, BOX, is set to open its doors in Chapel Allerton on 17th May, bringing the the electric atmosphere its known for to the popular suburb.

The 2,000 sq ft venue which was formerly the PIT has undergone an extensive transformation in order to launch ahead of the UEFA European Championship BOX iand features 14 Ultra HD screens inside and an LED screen on its newly refurbished terrace – which has already opened following the change in restrictions in April.

CEO of Arc Inspirations which owns and operates the BOX brand, Martin Wolstencroft, said ahead of the grand opening: “We opened the terrace on 12th April, and it is already proving to be extremely popular with the locals. The entire venue will open on 17th May in line with the easing of lockdown restrictions and we are super excited to be adding this unit to our portfolio. It’s a great opportunity to provide a fun and relaxed environment for people with a shared passion for sport, socialising, great food and drink.”

The venue will be open seven days a week offering cocktails, craft beers and food, it will also be the only bar in Chapel Allerton with a bottomless brunch offering.

Looking ahead Wolstencroft said there are also plans to reintroduce live music and events, safety and restrictions permitting, with the latest launch creating more than 5 full-time jobs in the area.
