Full house at business park after latest lettings agreed

Business space and industrial property experts Scotts Property LLP has secured lettings for the final two units on the recently established West Carr Business Park, Hull.

The business park, located on the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate and previously occupied by XPO Logistics, comprises around 200,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation across nine units.

Following the closure of the neighboring McBride factory site, with which XPO Logistics worked closely, the tenant vacated. Sole agent Scotts Property were instructed to market the site last year.

Chartered surveyor and business space specialist, Nick Coultish, said: “Demand for industrial space has continued to outstrip supply despite the ongoing pandemic, indicating the continued resilience of the industrial sector.

“We have been able to not only secure lettings on 11 industrial units to five operators during the pandemic, we have also been able to increase our client’s rental income through effective asset management.”

Anchor tenants include Atlas Leisure homes which has secured more than 100,000 sq ft and Bilfinger (UK) Limited which has taken on 45,000 sq ft.

Bilfinger decided to occupy this site following a long search, having relocated from Immingham.
