Sports tech firm looks to the slopes with trio of new clients

Sport:80, a Sheffield-based sports technology specialist, is onboarding Snowsport England, Snowsport Wales and British Bobsleigh, adding to its growing client base of sports governing bodies.

Snowsport England has recently launched with the company’s flagship platform that combines powerful customer relationship management functionality and a dedicated online member portal.

The body will now look to Sport:80 Platform to manage its memberships and qualifications, as well as event registrations for education and development opportunities, conferences and courses.

In addition, Snowsport Wales will adopt a similar programme, as the two governing bodies work alongside Sport:80 to grow their membership base, as well as identify new talent, while sustaining and growing UK interest in snow sport.

For British Bobsleigh, Sport:80 has configured a special platform primarily for the management of membership registration and renewals.

British Bobsleigh will also have access to a suite of data management tools which allows it to track and report on a variety of athlete-related data. This includes membership status and history, pathway programmes, athlete agreements, event appearances, among a host of other areas.

Sport:80 has won 18 new clients since the start of the pandemic, including governing bodies like US Track & Field and USA Karate.

The company, which works with clients on two continents and has 12 full-time staff, has experienced 16% year on year growth, taking its turnover above £1m.

It has been shortlisted for a Queens Award for Enterprise for International Trade, with a significant proportion of its revenue being generated from exports.
