Online marketplace specialists, SHIFT Marketplace, has appointed former Amazon partner manager, Kyle Daniel, as growth director to drive the global expansion of its overall client base.

Within his new role at the Leeds-based company, Daniel will draw on his extensive experience working across successful, high-growth brands to maximise client revenues, increase brand awareness and power international territory expansion.

Joel Seager has joined Fladgate as a partner in the dispute resolution practice. Seager has over 15 years’ experience acting on a wide range of complex, high-value international and domestic disputes in both court and arbitration proceedings. His appointment further consolidates Fladgate’s reputation as a highly ranked mid-market commercial disputes firm.

His practice incorporates a broad range of disputes with a focus on commercial litigation including partnership disputes, professional negligence, contentious insolvency, and civil fraud.

His arrival along with that of 7 other partners in the firm over the last 12 months supports the progress of Fladgate’s three year business strategy. The firm’s focus is on accelerating its successful model of providing a highly rated* personal, agile and enterprising service to some of the world’s leading and fastest growing businesses and ‘trend initiator’ brands as well as UHNWI’s and their advisors.

Heads of tax advisory, audit and marketing have joined the fast-growing team at Parsons Chartered Accountants, bringing the total head count to 36. The new appointments support the expansion of the firm’s portfolio of services and its growing Yorkshire client base.

Richard Walker joins Parsons as head of audit, bringing over 10 years of experience in the field. He is responsible for maintaining high quality audit standards, nurturing client relationships and leading a specialist team in servicing the growing client base.

Jamie Kelly is appointed as head of taxation, managing the firm’s established tax compliance service which guides clients through their annual tax returns and self-assessments. He is also responsible for the firm’s tax advisory service, assisting clients in navigating the diverse taxation landscape from Corporation Tax through to Inheritance Tax, and beyond.

Marketing manager, Lisa Butterworth, joins Parsons with almost 20 years of experience in the commercial, third and public sectors. She is the firm’s first in-house marketer and is responsible for establishing a marketing strategy to promote the expanded service portfolio and support the growth of the client base.

Will Beesley & Nathan Stocks

Sheffield and Peak District based architectural practice, Peak Architects, has taken on two new recruits as the company experiences further growth across multiple sectors.

Will Beesley & Nathan Stocks, join the multidisciplinary practice following a record year of growth, despite the challenging environment. The pair will support the team on the firm’s latest projects, ranging from general housing schemes to mixed use developments and industrial to leisure & hospitality projects.

Beesley studied at The University of Sheffield before gaining experience at practices specialising in the healthcare, education and heritage sectors.

Stocks’s work experience spans the last five years, principally across prestigious residential and heritage schemes, with an impressive track record in securing planning consents, an area that Peak Architects prides itself on also across multiple authorities.
