IT asset disposal business expands its operations

IT asset disposal company, S2S Group, has increased its operations in London by acquiring the assets and customer base of Data Eliminate Ltd, whose offices are situated in Fleet Street.

Rotherham-based S2S will now have a London presence to help serve its rapidly increasing client portfolio.

The deal also means Data Eliminate clients will now have redundant equipment processed under S2S’s “zero to landfill” policy.

The move marks a major expansion for S2S, which has committed to reducing its carbon footprint by becoming Carbon Net Zero by 2050.

Grant Barton, CEO of S2S, said: “The deal with Data Eliminate Ltd will enhance our London based presence with immediate effect.

“This strengthens the opportunities for Data Eliminate customers and our existing London based clients, to have their redundant equipment processed by S2S.

“Our recent organic growth and profitability has allowed us to look strategically at our needs for the next phase of our development and this expansion fits comfortably into our existing infrastructure, whilst at the same time creating new job opportunities in a number of areas.”

S2S’s range of services includes Data erasure or destruction (on or off-site); IT recycling disposal and or re-sale; imaging and deployment; ‘live real time asset tracking’; secure decommissioning, and secure paperless transportation.

The company has recently invested £1.5m in the outright purchase of its secure warehouse and office complex in Rotherham.

S2S is currently embarking on an ambitious programme of carbon reduction with the introduction of electric vehicles and a switch to LED bulbs throughout the facility. It has also changed to a 100% renewable energy supplier.
