Property people: Vincent & Brown

Mark Andrews

York-based architect Vincent & Brown has made a series of promotions and appointments as it looks to expand due to a very strong pipeline of projects and recent successes.

Mark Andrews has been made a director of the firm, Rob Miller an associate, along with the appointment of Thomas Hudson as architect.

Andrews has had an architectural career spanning more than 20 years and joined the firm in 2018 as an associate.

He has experience in a wide range of project types including mixed-use, higher-education and residential schemes and is currently working on high-profile developments such as the former Heworth gasworks site, a new eco-hotel on North Street and a senior living residential development on Shipton Road, all in York.

Rob Miller

Miller prides himself on his creativity and design flair. This has seen him win success in a number of architectural competitions leading to his work being published in a major architectural magazine.

His current projects include two major office schemes in Central York and new designs for The Roman Quarter project on Rougier Street in the City.

Neil Brown, of Vincent & Brown, said: “The promotions of Mark and Rob are testament to the hard work and creativity they have brought to a wide range of successful projects.  I would also like to welcome Thomas to the firm.

“As a studio, we are working on some amazing projects and have a very exciting pipeline of work, which means we want to attract the best, most creative and ambitious people, to join our team.

“We believe we can offer the best that ‘big city’ architects can offer in terms of projects, as well as a collaborative and friendly environment from our offices in York.”
