Dental firm bites into Russian market with distribution deal

Yorkshire dental firm EthOss Regeneration Ltd will enter a major new market after securing approval to distribute its dental implant product in Russia.

EthOss, the company’s flagship product, will be distributed by Southern Implants Russia after regulatory approval was secured from Russia’s Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor).

The product, launched in 2015, has gained significant traction within the dental implantology sector thanks to a cutting-edge composition that encourages new bone growth during dental implant procedures.

The distribution deal in Russia follows recent agreements to sell EthOss in Chile, Colombia, France and Saudi Arabia. The company already has established markets in Australia, the Middle East and Asia.

International expansion has seen the company’s export sales grow 61% year-on-year and, earlier this year, it was awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise in the international trade category.

Dr Paul Harrison, managing director of EthOss Regeneration, said: “We are looking forward to working with Southern Implants Russia to offer EthOss to patients and practitioners in Russia.

“It was a rigorous approval process that took several years and this is a large market for us which should provide a big boost to our already-thriving export sales.

“This is a hugely exciting time for the company and, despite the challenges of the pandemic, we have been able to rapidly grow the international side of the business.

“We will continue working with partners across the world to increase the global reach of our pioneering product.”
