Global automotive technology firm swoops for Yorkshire software business

Sheffield-based automotive lead generation software business, FISC Ltd, has been acquired by Keyloop, a global supplier of technology solutions to the automotive industry.

FISC Ltd was established in 2010 and supports dealerships, OEMs and finance houses across the world to maximise vehicle sales and improve customer loyalty via its flagship product, eMaster.

Keyloop was formerly known as the international division of CDK Global.

The latest deal follows on from Keyloop’s acquisition of enquiryMAX in March this year. It demonstrates Keyloop’s ongoing commitment to developing an open platform that connects the automotive retail industry and improves the car buying and ownership experience, in partnership with both dealers and OEMs.

Audit, tax and consulting services firm, RSM, advised FISC Ltd on its sale to Keyloop.

The transaction was led by RSM UK’s corporate finance partner James Wild, with support from Nick Wyatt and James Smith.

Knights’ corporate team led by David Easdown, supported by Pearse Connery, Wendy Catterall and Danial Gianferrari, provided legal advice on the transaction.

Wild said: ‘This transaction allows FISC and Keyloop to strategically enhance their product offering and further expand their presence on a national and international basis.

“It represents a fantastic partnership and opportunity for both parties and I’m delighted RSM could help in supporting the strategic goals of another ambitious tech business based in the North.”
