Dozens more homes coming to village site

Housebuilder Beal Homes has announced a new development in East Yorkshire.

Turpin’s Chase will feature 52 family homes in Welton, west of Hull. It will include three, four and five-bedroom houses, including three-bedroom bungalows.

Turpin’s Chase will be an extension of the company’s Turpin’s Heath development of 71 homes which completed in 2019.

Both developments take their name from Welton’s historical claim to fame, as the place where notorious highwayman Dick Turpin was captured.

Beal sales and marketing director, Sue Waudby, said: “We’re excited to announce that Turpin’s Chase is coming soon and we expect a great deal of interest in this development.

“Turpin’s Chase will offer a selection of our most popular house types, designed for contemporary living and perfect for families, professionals and executives.

“This is an exceptionally rare, select development of prestige properties, offering a charming village location with easy access to nearby cities and towns for work, shopping and leisure.

“We’re delighted to be returning to a community where we have lots of happy Beal buyers and that offers so much to house hunters.

Turpin’s Chase continues Beal’s track record of developments in this village, following Turpin’s Heath and, before that, The Wickets, which was built on the site of the former St James’ Infant School.
