SaaS firm, Boxphish, to provide 23,000 users with cyber security training

Northern-based SaaS company Boxphish will provide its Cyber Security Awareness & Training service to a further 23,000 users in the public sector, after being awarded a major Government contract.

More and more public sector organisations are taking a proactive approach to testing and training their staff against the evolving threat of cybercrime.

Human error accounts for around 95% of all successful cyber-attacks and is an area that must be covered to complete a robust security posture.

The Cyber Security vendor was awarded the contract following a competitive process which involved multiple other service providers.

Boxphish’s head of sales, Alex Thomas, said: “We are very pleased to extend our reach into the public sector.

“We decided to bid for the contract due to our growing presence in the sector and more importantly our ability to reduce our customer’s risk against the increased cyber threat, which was the customer’s number one requirement.”

Boxphish’s CEO, Nick Deacon Elliott, added: “I am delighted that Boxphish has been awarded this project. It is a testament to the hard work of our commercial and technical team and a great step from the customer as they take action to combat their increased risk.”

The customer was aligned with Boxphish’s award winning training methodology of automating continuous cyber security awareness training courses covering both simulated phishing and training courses.

Boxphish is well-established as a trusted security partner within the Public Sector, delivering training content via its bespoke learning management system monthly to Local Government, Blue Light, Defence, NHS & Government organisations.

A Boxphish customer recently commented on the service: “It is exactly what I was looking for in a cyber security training and phishing testing solution.

“The learning and testing journeys would take effect and run automatically, delivering reporting and insight on-demand, meaning that we moved from a considerable effort annual campaign to a monthly, effortless, automated solution for a fraction of the previous spend.”
